Halls of Torment Releases Second DLC “The Lost Archives” Now on Xbox

Xbox has released the second downloadable content pack for Halls of Torment, titled The Lost Archives.

Halls of Torment is a horde‑survival game that blends late‑90s action RPG style with roguelite progression. The new expansion, The Lost Archives, adds a fresh hall and two new heroes—the Inquisitor and Blood Apostle—each equipped with three full sets of equipment and brand‑new abilities.

The Inquisitor focuses on defense, retribution, judgment, and execution mechanics; when he takes damage, his Judgment ability marks surrounding enemies while his mace triggers Executions to deliver unblockable damage once thresholds are met.

Blood Apostle trades health for power through Sacrifices, allowing her to recover life by slaying foes and amplifying elemental effects without cap limits. She regains health by slaying enemies, and both effects are now uncapped, increasing damage from elemental or direct attacks.

Alongside these hero additions, the free update expands gameplay modes across all halls. Players can set their own kill goal at the Shrine of Torment, enabling quicker runs especially paired with artifacts that increase enemy numbers. Weekly Challenges also reward extra Torment Shards, and the Scriptor records peak results and accumulated stats since release.

With The Lost Archives priced at $3.99, Xbox users can download it immediately to explore hidden libraries, towering bookshelves, flickering chandeliers, and new combat dynamics in the ever‑expanding world of Halls of Torment. 1
