Corner Shop: NightShift Released on Xbox Series X|S and PC

Corner Shop: NightShift is out now on Xbox Series X|S and PC, supported by Xbox Play Anywhere. Published by PlayWay S.A., the game offers a psychological horror experience set inside a small convenience store where Adam Callahan works the night shift. Players handle deliveries, restock shelves, clean floors, scan groceries, monitor cameras, serve customers, and process payments while navigating Adam’s deteriorating mental health, strained family relationships, and financial pressures.

The narrative emphasizes realistic conversations about mental illness and family conflict, developed with specialist input from psychologists to portray authentic dialogue. Dialogues involving Adam’s psychologist and his wife were reviewed with expert guidance to ensure accuracy. The simulation side remains integral; players must keep the store running as ordinary systems intertwine with Adam’s psychological state.

Four possible endings are unlocked based on choices made throughout the game. Prices are listed at $19.99 or discounted to $17.99. ¹
