Pokémon Night Out Live Experience Set for October 24 at Intuit Dome

Twitch has announced that its upcoming “Pokémon Night Out” event will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Intuit Dome in Los Ángeles. The event will feature an energetic mix of dance music and Pokémon themes, with performances from well‑known DJs. A second show is scheduled for London’s O2 venue on November 10.

The announcement comes as part of a broader celebration marking 30 years of Pokémon. In addition to the live shows, Twitch is rolling out new chat badges tied to the event. Viewers who subscribe or gift subscriptions between October 16 and October 24 can earn a special Poké Ball containing a Gastly badge. By watching qualifying content for 20 minutes per day over three days, users can unlock successive evolutions—Haunter and Gengar—to complete the line. These badges are available only until January 30, 2027.

No additional subscription purchases are required beyond those needed for the initial badge; however, Prime subscriptions do not qualify. The offer applies to streams in various categories such as Just Chatting, Music, Talk Shows & Podcasts, and others listed in the original post.

To celebrate Pokémon Night Out, we’re introducing spooky chat badges featuring Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar. To get these badges: Gift or subscribe (prime subs are ineligible) to a channel between October 16 and October 24 in a qualifying Pokémon or other category, like Just Chatting, to earn a Pokémon Night Out–themed Poké Ball containing the Gastly chat badge. Equip that badge, watch qualifying content again for another 20 minutes a day for 3 days, and you’ll receive the next evolution. Repeat this process to obtain Haunter and then Gengar. Your chance to evolve this badge ends Jan 30, 2027.

For Creators: stream qualifying content during the offer period to help your audience earn Gastly, evolve their Pokémon, and complete their collections. ¹
