Pokémon Night Out Live Events Announced for Oct. 24 & Nov. 10

On Thursday, October 16, Twitch announced a series of live events under the banner “Pokémon Night Out.” The first show will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on October 24, followed by a second gathering at The O2 in London on November 10. Both venues are slated to feature world‑famous DJs as part of the celebration.

The announcement also highlighted that the next phase of the Pokémon Chat Badge Collection would launch concurrently with Pokémon Night Out. New badge lines—Pichu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander—and their evolved forms will be available starting today. Viewers can earn these badges simply by watching qualifying content; no additional subscription purchases are required.

In addition, a limited‑time drop called the Gengar Line introduces spooky chat badges (Gastly, Haunter, Gengar). To obtain them, users must gift or subscribe to a channel between October 16 and October 24 in a qualifying category such as Just Chatting or DJs. Once gifted, the Gastly badge unlocks after 20 minutes of viewing for three days, followed by Haunter and then Gengar after subsequent watch periods. These badges will not evolve beyond January 30, 2027.

Twitch’s statement clarifies that all offers apply only during the specified period and may change or cancel at any time. ¹
