Lofty Sky Games and NAGA Games announced Hope in the City, a narrative mystery adventure set in Shenyang, Northeast China. Players control 17‑year‑old Hope Song, an aspiring artist whose parents vanish after her home is found ransacked. The game departs from conventional detective tools; instead, Hope uses her sketchbook to record observations and combine thoughts into insights that unlock dialogue, locations, and leads. Developers designed each combination to elicit distinct responses—from jokes to subtle hints—encouraging experimentation while keeping gameplay engaging. Artist Calista Antonio created more than one hundred hand‑drawn sketches for the notebook interface, drawing directly from in‑game models to give the art style authenticity. The title will launch on November 11, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Steam, with day‑one availability through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. 1
