The Avatar State Patch brings a fresh look for menus and in‑match displays, reimagines two fighters, and adds balance changes across the roster.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game received its biggest update yet – the Avatar State patch – which went live on Oct 30 2026 for XBOX Series X|S players.

The patch overhauls menus and in‑match displays, giving the game a fresh look across character select, stage select, and the match interface.

Two fighters—Avatar Aang and Nightmare Korra—have been completely redesigned with new art styles, attack sets, and super moves.

Every fighter has also seen fine‑tuning to improve fairness and excitement.

Additional quality‑of‑life improvements accompany the visual overhaul. Ranked Mode 2.0 is part of the patch; story mode gets new tutorials, Combo Trials, and difficulty settings. Story stages are now playable within Versus, expanding content options. Online play receives updated mechanics as well.

The patch builds on the original launch earlier this year that introduced twelve characters from “Avatar: The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra.” New tutorials help players learn each fighter's unique style. 1
