Crimson Desert Adds “Charting the Unknown” Expansion on Oct 29

Crimson Desert’s new downloadable content pack, Charting the Unknown, will launch on October 29, 2026 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

The expansion introduces three brand‑new story arcs—one for Kliff, one for Oongka, and one for Damiane—that let each character forge their own path while meeting allies and threats.

For the first time in the series, ocean exploration opens up. Players can build ships, sail across the Great Ocean of Pywel, and discover underwater ruins, treasure chests, and new creatures.

Life management mechanics deepen with an upgraded housing system that lets players design homes from scratch, decorate liberated strongholds, and run facilities such as restaurants or smithies.

Romance potential expands; interactions may eventually blossom into romance and even marriage.

Garden of Trials is a combat-focused challenge where you face bosses encountered throughout your adventures in Pywel.

XBOX players can try Crimson Desert Enhanced with a five‑hour free trial from October 29, 2026 through January 7, 2027. ¹
