No Man’s Sky Announces FORSAKEN Update – New Corvettes & Haunted Mementos

On Oct 28, No Man’s Sky introduced its latest major update, FORSAKEN, which expands the game's universe with eerie themes and new gameplay elements.

The update brings “haunted mementos” that appear in derelict hulks and infested space outposts; players can collect them and trade with forsaken traders for unique biomechanical corvette modules.

Players may now build or upgrade their corvettes with new cockpits, seamless warping to stars, radial weapon selection, and minimal HUD mode tailored for advanced users.

Courier missions allow couriers to transport important packages using newly added corvette haulage missions, while cosmetic additions include grotesque larva tank helmets and wriggling larva cannon multi-tools.

This marks the fifth major update after REMNANT, XENO ARENA, THE SWARM, and COSMOS, and the developers are already planning further expansions for 2027. ¹
